My dear Viannians,

It is my great pleasure to  welcome  you for the new academic year 2023-2024

“Life is as good as your mindset.” Our outlook in life determines our reality. Each one’s outlook is different from others because each one is unique. A glass half full or half empty is how you perceive. You can choose to view life as a course of problems to overcome, or challenges and experience to learn from.

The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer. Hence use each day as an opportunity to progress, to be better and to get a little bit to your goals.

Is small so big? Yes. It is the small things that direct our life and lead to the big things.

Small actions make up our habits.

Small words make up our thoughts.

Small gestures make up our attitude,character and behaviour.

Little opportunities make a big break.

Small decisions, small steps, small gestures, lead to bigger avenues. So go make a difference and remember big doors swing on small hinges.

You did not start to stop. Knowing that there is a pit in every cherry, bones in fish and husks on the sweet corn, doesn’t stop us from making a delicious dinner from the ingredients. Similarly, the difficulties in life should not stop us from becoming successful that we were born to be.

You are not someone who is weak and who gives up. Go out there and prove yourself to the world and to yourself.

Stop negative self talk like, ‘I can’t do this’, ‘I am not good enough’, ‘ I won’t be able to finish this’, brings down your confidence. Instead, value the qualities you have and do not compare yourself to others. Focus on how you can do your best and how you can make your lives happier, more productive and more fulfilling. 

Watch your small actions carefully.Learn from mistakes and march towards your big goals.
